Paul,

Got one bone to pick with you. I preface this by saying that I greatly respect those who lament ardent creationists for their, at times, poor use of scientific arguments to cast doubt on the theory of macroevolution. That being said, I am somewhat of a soft creationist, or at the least am open to the possibility of a young earth theory. And perhaps you're right in saying that I/others are naive to bank any hope on some of these “old, debunked” arguments from said creationists. However, I don't think it's intellectually fair to the other side for you to simply, with a waive of the hand, say that all their arguments are old, debunked, and false. Yes, I understand you don't have nearly enough space here to tell us why you think that, but if you aren't able to take at least some time to unpack it, then in my mind you haven’t earned the intellectual right to say this so forcefully and dogmatically.

That critique aside, great article, really enjoyed it.
